I have an alpine head unit and ipod cable and while it can control the iphone, it only plays music out of the iphone speakers, not teh car. After the receiver powered off, I unhooked the CD-i200 cord from the iPhone. You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. At first, I was getting errors on the HU stating "Error A0" No idea what that means, but unplug, and reconnect it, and sometimes It works. My reasoning behind that is the line out works on the iPhone cradle, but not my other cradle with a line out port, but it DOES sync on both. I don't have one in my GTI yet, but will have very soon :) Good to hear!
