How might I repair the damaged partition table? Then, in 2009, Symantec announced they no longer offer it. Because DOS uses one description and other operating systems may use the other, data loss is likely once the partition is almost full. Also, even though all three partitions are Win98, FDISK reports them all as Non-DOS. I did use it, and the user interface is different -- all boundaries are specified in cylinders -- no mention of head & sector. I installed Partition Magic 8 in Windows, but it couldn't open due to partition names not being recognised or something. PowerQuest got acquired by Symantec way >>>> back >>>> in 2003.
