Partition Magic 8.0 Error 100

This error can occur if the operating system reports a hard-disk geometry that is different than the geometry in use when the partition table was written. It can also occur if you have more than one active partition. Should I just take it out and put it into another computer and Fdisk it, then reinstall it. I do not have any recovery floppies. Then I found your simple command. Windows and Partition Magic should pick it up if it is not screwed up. Therefore, PartitionMagic refuses to recognize any of the hard disk’s partitions.

The resolution is to back up your data and anything you consider important, delete the partitions, recreate them, format, and re-install the OS.

chkdsk can't fix partition table errors. Since any modifications PartitionMagic makes may decrease the amount of data that is recoverable from the hard disk, PartitionMagic does not recognize any of the hard disk's partitions.
