Since you are FTPing to IIS, are you sure that you are using the .NET 2.0 AppPool ? Build solution just recompiles the proj in your solution file, it does not run it for you.... 2. One sanity check: look at the file size of your main project DLL (Core.dll, in my case) in dev and production. You get this problem because you have multiple versions of framework installed on the machine. It functions as expected with VWD's debug server and IIS which is set up locally, but when I transfer the files to an IIS site on another computer I get the Could Not Load Type Master Page Inherits What have I done wrong?
